This luxurious masseria (farmhouse) near Lecce known as the “Florence of the South” is in the heart of the Salento countryside and close to the sea, the “real” Italy where the Italians come for their holidays. La Masseria is a real home from home experience, interior designed to a very high standard and recently featured in Homes & Gardens, It has all the luxuries you could wish for providing the perfect mix of style comfort.

Rates: From € 4481.5 to € 6681.5 a week.

Sleeps: 8 + 2

Ideal for: Groups of friends and families, romantic getaway, food lovers and keen cooks, sun worshipers and those needing escape!

Minimum hire: Three nights except during peak season (Easter, July and August) when minimum hire is seven nights.

Booking process: 30%  Deposit taken on booking

Grounds: Ancient olive grove, courtyard with lavender garden, a roof terrace, alfresco dining under shaded pergola and stunning infinity pool.

In the know

Eating and drinking: There is a welcome hamper of pasta, pasta sauce, biscuits, coffee, tea, milk, some jams, orange juice, fresh bread, two bottles of wine and water; in the larder there are essentials such as sugar, balsamic vinegar, flour, pepper and unlimited  olive oil from our grove.  Chilled prosecco and fresh fruit will be provided on your arrival.

Housekeeping: The masseria is cleaned twice a week with one laundry change.  Spare linen and towels provided.

Entertainment: There is a Sony 40"LCD DVD/CD entertainment system.

Provided: Guests can use two mountain bikes for cycling.  A cot and baby bath can be arranged on request.  Pool towels, hairdryers, DVD's/CD's provided. We can also organise massage, manicures, pedicures, personal guides, boat trips, in house cook, pizza chef  (made in our own wood oven) and Cookery School.

General: There isn’t any automatic WiFi but if you really need an internet connection we can get you a plug-in connection for € 60/week.
