Puglia prepares to welcome tourists again: update Covid–19

On 17/05/2020 the President of the Italian Council of Ministers issued a new decree that includes the provisions on travel to and from abroad.

This decree establishes that, from 3th of June 2020 travel to and from the following states is not subject to any restrictions:

     a) Member States of the European Union;

     b) States parties to the Schengen Agreement;

     c) United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland;

     d) Andorra, Monaco;

     e) Republic of San Marino and Vatican City State.

In addition, from 18 May Italy will see the reopening of bars and restaurants, beaches and museums, of course in safety, with the use of personal protective equipment and respecting the interpersonal distance.

Italy has dealt with the Coronavirus pandemic extremely effectively and is now well on its way out of lockdown. By the end of May, life should be pretty much back to normal, and the tourist season is set to open at the beginning of June.

We’re delighted for all our friends, colleagues and partners, and we’re ready to welcome those of you who have already booked a trip this summer or who will.

Finally we will be able to enjoy summer holidays!
